This course qualifies individuals in the demolition of non-load bearing structures and the removal of fixtures and fittings, providing the operative has the appropriate tools/skills training in the equipment required to undertake the task. The Demolition Refurbishment Operative will also be qualified to use mechanical hand tools.
Demolition Refurbishment Operatives may take additional training to be qualified in Working At Height or Safe Oxygen/Fuel Cutting. These skills do not form part of this qualification but may be taken as additional skills training.
The CCDO Demolition & Refurbishment Red card is initially valid for 3 years to enable a period of getting the knowledge obtained put into practice. During this 3-year window, they must complete the NVQ Level 2 in Demolition Operations
