The CCDO Advanced Demolition Operative (Topman) will have 5 years industry experience and be looking to move towards managing a small team.
The Advanced Demolition Operative (ADO) qualification encompasses all of the roles of the Demolition Refurbishment Operative and also allows for the demolition of load-bearing walls and structures by hand. As well as significant on-the-job experience, a CCDO ADO will have skills training in a range of equipment to undertake demolition works by hand including Safe Oxygen/Fuel Cutting, Working At Height, working to method statements and pre-planned cutting sequences.
The ADO will be coordinated and supervised by either a CCDO Chargehand or CCDO Site Supervisor.
